Materi dan Tugas Sekolah kami cukup banyak. Berhubung mata pelajarannya juga banyak(hehehe). Ya seperti sekolah-sekolah pada umumnya, tugas selalu diberikan sama guru. Berikut ini tugas dari mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Kami para siswa SMPN 1 Tulungagung yang berdomisili di kelas 8B(apa’an sich???) disuruh membuat laporan tentang perayaan 17 Agustus tahun 2008 kemarin. Nie hasil tugas kita....

AUGUST REPORT

August Program in my town isn’t different with the other program in other place. August Program in my town is same with last year. It’s still same as usual celebration. There is no special. I think August Program should be improvisation. So, the participation and attention of people and also the commander is very needed.

If the August Program is improved, I think it will be better than before. Such as it will be interesting, lively, full of cheerful and not borred. So, we should improve the August Program.

August Program in my town is usually related with our Independent Day. The activity are about many competitions, parade, allegory, bazaar, orchestra, and fishing area. All of people are prepare it well. The competitions are joined from children until adult. There are many competitions. Such as, eating chips, racing bicycle, racing gunny sack, “sunggi tampah”, put a pencil into a bottle, Qiro’at, tartil, drill, and eating peanut. Wow, there are many competition. The parade and allegory are about Diversity in Unity (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika). The student of Junior High School 1 Karangrejo must join it. If they not join it, they must pay a fine. The cost is Rp 20,000.00. In this activity, there are becoming a cultural observer, scholar, king and queen, singing beggar and the others. It’s there are many characters because of a lot of people(student). The parade make transportation busy and got stuck.

In this activity, I am joining in school allegory, and also my brother. In allegory, I as fisherman. I bring a basket to patch the fish. But I use it to patch my handphone, some tissues and snacks. If the people ask me where are the fish, I will answer that the fish become a handphone because I get a handphone when I am fishing. During the allegory, the day is hot and make me thirsty and tired. Besides I am joining allegpry, I am joining in SSO at school and at SMA Darul Ulum at Jombang. I and two my friends are the winner of SSO or exactly on Science Olympiad at school in regency level. So, we have to join in SSO at Jombang on Jum’at, August 29-30, 2008. We are so glad when the announcement is knowed and we as the winner. The SSO is an olympiad which the finalist is three students in each team. Three students are for mathematic, physic, and biology. I study in mathematic. For physic and biology are Risqi from 8B and Anindita from 8i. I need your support.

My father participation is only see our allegory and praying for my succes. But, no problem. It’s more enough for me.

I think celebration of Independent Day this year in our town is still same with last year. Even, there are elimination activity of Independent Day. For example, in last year there are allegory, cycle decoration, development parade. But, in this year the parade is only allegory. It will be quiet than last year. Such as I said, the celebration Independent Day should be improvisation. I think it’s okay to make a culture parade, Batik contest, “membatik” competition to improve art skill and also to continue Batik culture in Tulungagung.

To make the celebration succes, I think we should improve our study. For example, study hard and also join in many contest. Making Tulungagung proud of our achievement. Not only in academic, but also in non academic. Making Tulungagung most amazing achievement. We must do it together.
